In the world of animal rescue, each day brings new challenges and stories that tug at the heartstrings. One such story unfolded recently when we received an urgent call about a canine in dire need of help.
The call came in about a canine who had been involved in an accident on the highway. The poor creature was in excruciating pain and crying out for help. Without a moment's hesitation, our team sprang into action, racing against time to reach the distressed animal.
Upon arrival, we found the canine with a severely broken leg, clearly in tremendous pain and in need of immediate medical attention. Understandably, the trauma and pain made the canine defensive, and she attempted to bite when approached.
Our team, trained for such situations, managed to calm her down. Using a crossbar to safely secure her without causing further harm, we gently placed a mouth cap on her to prevent any accidental bites. With great care, we transported her to our shelter hospital, TMT Tirupur.
Once at the shelter, our dedicated veterinary team quickly examined her. The prognosis was grave: her leg was badly broken, and surgery was necessary. However, the canine was not in a stable condition to undergo surgery immediately.
Our vet prescribed a course of supportive treatment to stabilize her condition. She was given the necessary medications and injections to manage her pain and prevent infection. We ensured she was kept in a safe and comfortable environment, where she would be monitored closely until she was ready for surgery.
As we continue to provide the best possible care for this brave canine, we ask for your thoughts and prayers. Her journey to recovery will be a challenging one, but with love, support, and medical care, we are hopeful she will overcome this ordeal.
