The rescue of a dog who was trapped in a well for two years

Friends Of Animals Tirupur helpline received a call from a man wanting help in rescuing a dog from the well in the Kamanayakampalayam area of Tirupur District.

This is an incredible story where, according to locals, the dog had slipped and fallen into a well when he was a puppy and had been there for over two years!

We immediately reached out to the nearest fire service and they were able to rescue the dog in a few hours. This delighted many local residents who had seen the dog in the well since he was a puppy.
